The mentality of the campus brats and other banner-waving performative 'Progressives' is not even really about a concern for the Palestinian people. The real driver is to signal that your privileged narcissistic little wonderful self is ever on the side of the 'oppressed'. Chris Bray has provided the only military explanation of Hamas actions, to create a dead zone, a region so steeped in trauma that no Israelis will venture near the area for generations to come. It's utterly vile and horrific. I fail to understand how anyone can think otherwise. These entitled brats have no sense of humanity. And as for the Guardian.....well, anything less would have been a disappointment, so detached from reality has that institution become.
