Hey,

I doubt Christians were more than a quarter of the Roman population before they seized power (this is a semi-educated guesstimate), and neither the Bolsheviks or Jacobins had close to a majority of people in their camp.

What they did have that made them so powerful is that they had seized moral authority, they became bulletproof because any attack could be repelled by clinging tightly to their chosen victim class (the People, the Proletariat, Roman slaves and women), and by claiming that any attack against them was the moral equivalent of kicking your grandma in the face.

Team Social Justice has had 50 years of full megaphone control to culturally condition every educated urbanite (if not everyone not explicitly religious) into believing that our entire history is a single massive hate crime against black/brown people, that Good people never say NO to any demands made by a minority group, and that anyone who even quibbles against any of this is an evil Nazi bigot.

More or less, in our supposedly secular yet deeply religious societies, Black pain (and Trans too) has become sacralized, they suffered and died for our sins, and thus they should be cherished, worshipped and obeyed.

And now that the global corporate state has merged with the New Left to form a 21-st century Church/State ruling coalition, their dogma and sacred beliefs will be inescapable, in every product and every ad, every show and song and article.

Or do I sound nuts??

One of the writers below pointed out that Bolshevik means majority. Actually it means biggest group or movement. They were one of the smallest , though, in the constellation of groups opposing the Czar and the Russian system, but they were the most ruthless and violent, even more so than the anarchists. The Nazis took power in Germany in '33 with less than a third of the vote, but like the communists to the east, were the most violent and murderous group there, using the Reichstag fire in '33, set by one Dutch communist, to seize power throughout Germany, very much the same as the Uniparty is using 6 Jan 21 to do so here. My point is that even though they are a small slice of the population all over the Western democracies, these people are totalitarians and have no moral basis to anything they do: it's all about their own power and aggrandizement. That's why they have to be opposed everywhere and about everything.

It's a religion of the Uber Woke and Always Aggrieved. Unlike Christianity which has forgiveness as one of its biggest tenets, this Uber Woke religion has no forgiveness, but requires you to pay for your sins.

Thank you for this article. It reminds me of why I am constantly annoyed by the yard signs, with rainbow colors, stating ‘all are welcome here’. What the hell does that even mean? That, ‘all are *not* welcome’ at homes who don’t display that sign? It’s all so ridiculously stupid that I can’t stand it.

Nice articulation, Chris.

I want to make little one-word stickers to slap on revolutionary humdrum beliefs signage: “Duh!”

Beautifully and brilliantly written; thank you. Sadly, only too relatable as well.

Chris Bray recommended I read this post. While reading I decided to confess a personal secret. I earned an economics degree at a top university in the US but just recently learned that Bolshevik means "majority".

“Between just eight and thirteen percent of the population strangle the national conversation.”

I agree that the “tiny slice” of zealots you write about is wrecking civilization in western nations through the valuation of current-year piety above competency, probity, and traditional values.

They should be ignored or, better yet, opposed.

I suggest we should also ignore or oppose the constant complaints and demands of another “tiny slice” of the U.S. population that is also wrecking normal, safe, competent, civilized society for the majority of Americans - a so-called “community” that forms at most 13 percent of the population (though, given the fact that thousands of invaders walk into the country every day and we have no way of knowing the real population of the U.S., I suspect this sacralized “community” actually comprises less than 10% of the total number).

Our constant bending over backwards to placate this implacable “tiny slice” and the unspoken open secret of their social dysfunction and wildly disproportionate criminality is wrecking the nation.

They, too, should be ignored or, better yet, opposed.

The State, and The Elites, are allowing this sort of tyranny of the minority because it does not affect their power. In fact, they are able to co-opt it to gain more power and control. Usually in the name of "disinformation" and their desire to control it.

Meanwhile, the corporatization of everything continues to run amok, as Big Media/Big Government/Big Tech consolidate power and influence.

I am urged to respect and embrace everybody.

OK. I can socially tolerate people who are ignorant, stupid, obese, loud, arrogant, dishonest, delusional, and aggressive. Just don't tell me I have to like or respect them. And if such people attempt to evangelise their qualities at me, I regard this as a declaration of micro-war and I take no prisoners.
